Tri-State Community Healthcare Center was founded in 2012 by local residents, healthcare professionals, and business leaders committed to improving access to healthcare and social support services for families in need. These concerned community members came together to address the financial and medical challenges facing residents of Needles, California, and to break down the barriers preventing low-income families from accessing essential healthcare and support services.
Since then, we’ve grown to serve 15 communities across California, Nevada, and Arizona, providing quality, compassionate care to underserved, uninsured, and underinsured individuals and families. Today, as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we offer both primary and specialty care at all of our locations.
Guided by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), our board of directors is made up of over 51% health center patients, ensuring that our decisions are always patient-centered. The remaining board members are dedicated community professionals who bring expertise and insight. Together, we work to make a positive difference in the lives of those who need us most.
